INCEIF Campus Kuala Lumpur, 13 May 2024 – INCEIF University and Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) are exploring the possibility of offering INCEIF’s academic programmes at the Terengganu-based university.

Among the programmes being considered are the INCEIF Professional Certificates to be incorporated in the Master’s programme at UniSZA, and a UniSZA-INCEIF double master programme.

An exploratory meeting was held on campus recently between INCEIF and UniSZA.

The UniSZA team, headed by Director of Centre for Knowledge Transfer and Continuing Education Assoc Prof Ts. Dr Mohd Adzim Khalili Rohin, comprised Head of SIG Assoc Prof Dr Mohd Sadad Mahmud, Deputy Director of Centre for Knowledge Transfer and Continuing Education Dr Hanif Md Lateh @ Junid, Head of the School of Finance & Banking Dr Nik Hazimi Mohammed Foziah and Senior Assistant Registrar Mr Najmuddin Mohamed Sarawi. INCEIF was represented by Prof Dr Syed Abdul Hamid Aljunid and Prof Dr Baharom Abdul Hamid.

UniSZA was originally established in 1980 as an Islamic educational college, known as Kolej Ugama Sultan Zainal Abidin. In 2005, it was granted full university status and became Universiti Darul Iman Malaysia, before it was renamed Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin in 2010 to acknowledge its historical background. The university has 12 faculties including the School of Business and Management which offers, among others, Bachelor of Business Administration (Islamic Finance), and Master in Islamic Finance.

Over the years, INCEIF has inked partnerships with universities as well as industry associations and regulatory bodies to share and promote the Islamic finance knowledge in Malaysia and abroad.
